In the concert hall, there are moments when everything depends on what happens in the next few seconds. A conductor stands in front of dozens of highly trained musicians, a hall full of expectations and no second chance. Legal practice knows similar moments: decisions must be made under pressure, with incomplete information and often in front of highly capable counterparts. Drawing on expertise developed through many years as an orchestral conductor and executive coach, Ingo Stadtmuller will explore with the participants how to navigate such situations with clarity and confidence.
Ingo Martin Stadtmüller works as orchestral conductor and leadership expert, drawing on the experience of the stage in his work as an executive coach.
After studying orchestral conducting in Frankfurt, Main he built an international career on the podium that led to his appointment as General Music Director and Chief Conductor of the Schleswig-Holstein State Theatre and Symphony Orchestra, a position he held until 2024. Over more than two decades he has conducted numerous orchestras and ensembles. Accompanying his artistic career, he expanded his professional profile with a Master’s degree in Change Management & Leadership and a certification in Systemic Coaching. Today, alongside to his work as a professional musician, he serves as Partner at Ward Howell International in Vienna, supporting executives and professionals in complex decision situations and high-pressure environments.
His work connects the principles of orchestral conducting with modern leadership development, focusing on goal-driven leadership, confident judgement and achieving tangible impact in demanding professional situations.
